Here, we'll walk you through how to view and use the ledger listing report in Paragon. There are also many other categories of reports in Paragon. Before using these reports, you can familiarize yourself with accessing, filtering, searching, printing and exporting reports.
The ledger listing provides a complete record of financial transactions over the life of the company, and provides you with the ability to select the transactions associated with an account and/or date range.
First, hit the more button, then the reporting button.
Next, on the left-hand side, select ledger listing to pull up the filter options for that report.
Now, hit the blue side bar to expand the menu to be able to filter your report.
Select how you would like to filter your report. For example, you will be given the option to select your account level, start date, end date or type of transaction. You can also filter by any attribute that has been added to financial transactions' business terms (or header fields).
Once you have made your selection for the report, hit the print icon.
A popup may appear notifying you that Paragon is trying to open a new window if you have an ad blocker switched on. Hit press here in the popup, and the report will automatically open in a new window.
An output will appear with the ledger listing according to the selections you have made. You will then be able to save or print the report from that screen.
As mentioned above, there are many other reports available in Paragon for you to try out. Learn more about our reports.
