What's new with Paragon - December 6, 2022
Distribute transit cost by quantity or value of goods
Additional charges incurred when shipping or receiving goods are tracked in Paragon using transit costs. These costs are then distributed across the transaction lines and used to calculate an accurate inventory value for each item, depending on the valuation method selected.
Previously, transit costs were always distributed based on the quantity of each item being received or shipped, but it’s also common to distribute the costs based on the value or amount of each item. This is now completely configurable in the My Company settings.
Bugs
Here's a list of bugs we've eliminated with this update:
- Voiding a transaction that was created from multiple source transactions will re-open the sources that were auto-completed.
- Importing new references or transactions is now up to 80% faster, with larger files seeing the greatest improvement.
