What's new with Paragon - March 31, 2020

Find the address you're looking for

Do you have a lot of ship-to addresses for your customers? To make them easier to find, we just improved the way we display addresses in the header of transactions and references. Now, you can search for addresses to find the one you are looking for more easily. And of course, you can still add new addresses with the + new address icon.





Write rules to box with using specific criteria

You can now write rules that pre-populate boxes. If you know that ten t-shirts fit in one specific box, you can design a pre-packing rule that will automatically pack the boxes with the right quantity of items depending on the box content attribute that you set up.

Paragon for Amazon

Log improvements - what’s happening and when

The integration log gives you a complete history of everything that has happened in Paragon for Amazon. For example, when you want to import orders from Seller Central to Paragon, the orders created will appear in the log.

With this update, we’ve improved how activities, such as importing orders, are recorded to the log - you will now notice that log entries are more consistent. Each import/export of transactions or references triggered by an Amazon run-now rule will have a starting and ending log entry to indicate that the process began and was completed successfully. In addition, you will see an entry if any of the processes failed to complete for any reason.  




Wikett

Sync data - right now

Wikett was designed to run in the background, seamlessly and automatically shuttling data from Amazon to QuickBooks at scheduled intervals. But sometimes you need things to happen now - you can’t wait for the next scheduled event to run. That’s why we’ve added the ability to manually trigger any of Wikett’s three data syncs. From the settings page, you can now manually trigger product updates, order imports or reconciliation. 

If you happen to trigger an action when one is already in progress, we’ll let you know by writing an attention line to Wikett’s log. Also, note that the improvements we made to the Amazon logs are also applied to Wikett’s logs! 



Bugs

Here’s a list of the bugs we’ve eliminated with this update:


  • Correct chronic error message about connection issues when creating custom report templates.

  • Fix the ability to add line discounts to report templates.

  • Custom BOM is now transferred from order to work order.

  • Increase the amount of data that can be uploaded at once through the universal translator.

  • Correct issue that prevented you from adding a manual transaction when certain rules were configured.
