Create GL periods for past fiscal years

Paragon makes accounting easy with flexible and granular general ledger mapping capabilities and custom GL period creation. Setting up your GL periods is not only necessary but allows for financial reporting to be segmented and compared over time.

So, what if you wanted to know how much money you made from sales alone in March of last year? Paragon now allows you to create GL periods for past fiscal years, upload historical transactions, and analyze your financial health. In order to keep rollover accounts consistent and reporting accurate, you won’t be able to create a period for 2018 before 2019 is created.

WIGO purchase journal summary and detail reports

If you loved the recently added reports for the sales journal, you’re in luck - the newest addition to our suite of WIGO reports is the purchase journal. Keep track of all your purchases from vendors by filtering by purchase order, vendor invoices, and/or vendor credits. By including purchase orders in the report (in addition to invoices and credits) you are able to compare ordered, canceled, and received quantities against billing details.

The last thing you want to do is overpay or underpay a vendor. By using this report, you can cross-reference your bills with the POs you placed to ensure their accuracy.

In addition to providing a general overview of purchases in the summary report, you can also use the detail report and WIGO’s filtering capabilities to answer more specific questions. For example, use line attributes like ETA and receipt date to determine the reliability and predictability of each vendor’s shipments.

Report on user record information
You can now filter your WIGO reports on user record information using the created by and modified by filters as you could previously with the created on and modified on dates.

Bugs

Here's a list of bugs we've eliminated with this update:
  1. Selecting items from the add item modal while searching in between items now adds all items to the transaction.
  2. Paragon ID is shown for products in Ecommerce logs when pulling products (as is does for pulling customers and vendors).
  3. Drop-down attributes appear correctly in all scenarios.
  4. WIGO columns are now allowed to be pivoted on.
