We have introduced and implemented several major changes that will streamline address maintenance while ensuring that the easy options that our customers currently enjoy remain intact.
Note: Any rules, integrations, reports, and/or PDF templates you are already using have also been edited to work with the updated address structure.
Here's a preview of the UI changes you can expect to see.
See all addresses at once on transaction screens
Having to toggle between the shipping and billing information on transactions was not the most convenient way to interact with addresses. We have now reconfigured the address portion of transaction screens across Paragon so that all four relevant addresses are always visible and editable at the same time. This makes it much easier to spot mistakes and/or to make changes on the fly.
New user interface for addresses in Paragon
We have redefined the address creation modals throughout Paragon to help you better input and select the correct address the first time. The overall functionality of the new modal is very similar to what you already used, so there is no long learning curve to contend with. Additionally, you can now fill in individual address lines and have Paragon automatically show you how the address will be displayed on all screens.
UT import and export of addresses through Excel
We've added a completely new address data table to make maintaining your addresses much easier. You can now add addresses to Paragon without initially linking that address to a specific company or transaction. Once the address has been correctly uploaded, you can link it to whichever company or transaction (existing or new) you like. Each address will have a unique ID.
When trying to import or export data, we now have an option labeled Addresses in the dropdown; instead of the previous option labeled Customer. Follow this link to learn more about exporting addresses.
