Improved Bill of Materials Grids

Bills of material help us understand how a product is made and what is needed to make it. They can contain a lot of minute information and must be as clear and concise as possible.  We've added our trusted AG grid functionality to the item bill of material screen and the custom bill of material modals in transactions. You can now add or remove attribute information with the columns selector and filter your data as with any grid.

User permission options for Unit Costs

We also use bills of materials to determine how much each product costs to make. This information is sometimes deemed sensitive, and not all users should necessarily have access to it. You are now able to hide the unit cost and the total cost entirely or simply prevent users from editing it in the item BoM screen. We added the same options in the transaction BoM modals.

Improved sorting logic on transaction grids

With large transactions, searching for items in a list of hundreds can be difficult. We've improved the sorting functionality on all transaction item grids to help out with the struggle. The grids initially sort by entry line number (as before). When you choose to sort the items in ascending or descending order, they now correctly sort alpha-numerically. Special symbols are ignored for now - more improvements to come.

Additional inventory information in BigQuery

Inventory reporting and BI tools can have huge impacts when performing inventory counts and mass stock adjustments. We've added the Frozen Price and Frozen Quantity data points to our tooling to make sure all the necessary info is at your fingertips. Reach out to your ParagonERP rep for more information about this powerful tool.

Here's a bug we've eliminated with this update:

  • Empty attribute rows can no longer be saved in the screen setup module
