What's new with Paragon - August 18, 2020

New features and bug fixes every two weeks. Come back here to check out what's new.

Control user access to custom action buttons

Custom action buttons can be created for rules and to print templates. With this update, you can now also apply security to a custom action button. This is useful if you want to have only one person to be able to trigger a custom action button.

The action button will be listed under the security element. By changing the sliding access level bar to the right, you will change the access level for a specific user access type.

Export WIGO reports to Excel (and other improvements)

It's now possible to export data in the grid to Excel or CSV. You just need to select the data range that you want to analyze and right-click.

You may also notice that we added a message when you first open WIGO reports to let you know that the columns are loading.

We also applied a few enhancements, such as closing the column selector by default.

Bugs

Here's a list of the bugs we've eliminated with this update:
  1. Inactive vendors are not showing up anymore in the make and receive payment module.
  2. Quantities on shipment created from pack now use quantities on pack and not the order source if desired.
  3. Journals are now saving correctly.
  4. Decimal button on the number pad on the keyboard enters a thousand separator as opposed to decimal separator for European users.
  5. Shopify changes to purchase cost and description are now reflected in Paragon.
  6. It is now possible to complete all receipts created from work orders.
  7. Custom BOM quantities on work orders are now correct.
