Move all inventory in one location with the mobile application
Managing stock in a warehouse is an ever-changing process, as storage locations and layouts constantly evolve to optimize stock placement and picking efficiency. We recently added the ability for warehouse managers to perform these movements in the
mobile application with a scanner. This functionality has now been extended further allowing you to move all inventory across multiple items from one location to another location in bulk. Simply scan or select the originating location and final destination location.
Track the user that performed inventory movements or adjustments
Now warehouse managers can seamlessly monitor and attribute every inventory movement or adjustment in the system to the employee who performed it as well as the exact time it was done. This information is currently available in the inventory history tab and
WIGO report. A feature like this can foster a culture of responsibility and accountability among your team, as well as ensure data integrity and accuracy by having a clear trail of every change made.
Bugs
Here's a list of bugs we've eliminated with this update:
- Numeric aging fields in the customer statement and AR/AP aging reports are now always populated properly.
- List view layouts no longer periodically disappear.
- Users can navigate from the GL activity panel to specific journals.
- Filtering the list view for records on a specific date now works properly.
- Creating a transaction from the more tab of another transaction no longer causes a blank transaction screen.
- Resetting and clearing all data no longer causes new journals to be posted to incorrect accounts.
