Release notes - January 28 2025

Organize screens with Categorized Attributes, track shipments via the new Order Status portal, and use Multi-UoM order entry in Paragon.

This release introduces powerful ways to organize your data and keep your customers informed. From grouped attributes to real-time order tracking and flexible unit management, we are focused on making your workflow cleaner and more efficient.

  • Categorized attributes: You can now group your custom data fields into expandable categories to reduce screen clutter.

  • Order status portal: Give your customers real-time visibility into their deliveries via a dedicated status webpage.

  • Mandatory Google SSO: Simplify security by requiring users to log in with their Google accounts.

New features

Expandable and categorized attributes

If you use many attributes, your screens can become cluttered. You can now assign categories to attributes (by module) and view them in organized groups. This feature is currently available for the customer and product screens. Please contact your support agent before turning this feature on for more details.

Order status website

To reduce the volume of status inquiries to your service team, we have launched an order status webpage. You and your customers can use this link to view real-time updates on requests and deliveries. Look out for our upcoming documentation on how to share these links via order confirmation emails.

Multi-UoM order entry

You can now fulfill customer orders using their preferred Unit of Measure (UoM) even if you track stock in a different unit. This allows for greater flexibility in complex sales scenarios. Detailed documentation for this feature will be released shortly.

Improvements

Mandatory Google SSO

You now have the option to force users to sign in using their Google account, removing the need to manage multiple passwords. You can activate this in the user management module. Please note that when you create a new user, this option is set to yes by default.

Checkbox filtering

To help you find information faster, you can now filter any attributes configured as checkboxes. This functionality is available across most grid screens and list views.

Bug fixes

  • Order trail: Fixed several issues in the order trail tab; quotes are no longer included in the data, unnecessary commas have been removed, and the tab no longer fails when a transaction is voided.

  • Data imports: The data import feature can now be used immediately after login. Additionally, importing price book data now correctly saves edited product information.

  • Transaction edits: Fixed a bug where cancelling an edit after deleting a line would return incorrect quantities.

  • Navigation: Improved the module sequencing found under the more menu.

Coming up

We are expanding categorized attributes to more modules soon and finalizing the step-by-step guides for the new order status portal.
