What's new with Paragon - January 30, 2024
New features and bug fixes every two weeks. Come back here to check out what's new.
Block inventory adjustments without a reason
Inventory management is made even easier with the ability to prevent anyone from making adjustments without using a proper reason code. With this setting, the option to accept adjustments is unavailable until a reason code is selected. This allows for easy tracking and reporting when looking back on why stock was adjusted and when.

New advanced settings options for transactions
We now offer the ability to prevent editing a transaction once a company has been selected. This removes the the risk of mistakes where the wrong customer data (such as currency, carrier, or division) is linked to a transaction. This same setting also prevents a new line from being added to a transaction if no company has been selected. This is to ensure that the correct customer-driven data (pricing, discounts, descriptions, etc.) are applied to the items.

Bugs:
Here's a list of bugs we've eliminated with this update:
- Materials can now be added to work orders even if a material pick has been linked
- The currency symbol now respects the selected currency on transaction screen sub-totals
- Attributes can no longer be deleted from Paragon if they are already in use
- The correct net line values (including discounts) are now being sent to UPS with the Trade Direct integration
- Multiple improvements to our API - better load balancing for improved performance
