      What's new with Paragon - January 7, 2020

      Carrier integration features are now in the Pack module

      Upon receiving multiple requests from clients, we decided to go ahead and move the carrier boxing and labels feature from the shipment module to the pack module. The functionality remains the same though. We've also made a few minor adjustments to the workflow to make things easier for you.

      Rule: Copy delivery charges from the pack to sales order

      Fees and other delivery charges are part and parcel of all things shipping but the figures are usually only evident once the items are being packed for shipping. But, let's say, you were looking up a customer order at a later date and wanted to see what fees and charges had been applied to that order. We've now developed a rule that will automatically copy that data back to the sales order when the packing slip is created.       Bugs

      Here's a list of bugs we've eliminated with this update:

      1. Percentage transit costs now appear correctly in the transaction modals.
      2. Fixed a problem in the rules engine when using product associations.
      3. Corrected month description when creating new GL periods.
      4. Copy function corrected to accept attributes that contain special characters.
      5. Search in GL module works correctly.
      6. Setting default values for box attributes no longer removes the unit of measure qualifier.
      7. 'Short_description' no longer shows twice in the screen setup business card.
      8. Bulk edit and show inactive buttons no longer appear when navigating to the home screen.
      9. Searching in screen setup and list view has been corrected.
      10. Journal entry business terms use a consistent drop-down style.
      11. Removed the blue box from around the name of references.
      12. The product column in transaction grids is now re-sizable.
      13. The summary tab has been removed from the report template editor screen.
      14. 'Ship' label in references no longer covers addresses.
      15. Adjusted the sizing of the 'add' button in BoM screens.
      16. Removed doubled grid lines in UoM conversion and exchange rate screens.
