Here's what we've been working on to make Paragon^ERP work better for you.

Receive a payment without a vendor invoice

Sometimes you'll receive money from a vendor without having issued them an invoice. In these particular situations, the vendor is likely paying you for a recurring service or for a vendor invoice that will be issued in the future. Until the time that the invoice is created, you need to be able to record the payment inside Paragon. This is where a manual payment receipt comes in. When creating a payment receipt, you will notice that there is a new tab called 'manual'. This tab allows you to create the payment without a vendor invoice.

Rules engine re-designed

Rules are little pieces of code that you can build to change Paragon's normal behavior. With this update you'll receive a new interface where you can set up these rules. You can now also search in rules for names, triggers, descriptions. Re-designed timeout landing pages

If you're in Paragon for too long with no activity, your session will time out. When this happens, you're brought to a new webpage. This webpage has been changed to to be more consistent with the rest of the software and branding.

Bugs

Here's a list of pesky bugs we squashed with this update:

• Could not receive a payment from the action button in the invoice module
• Could only add product to a BOM, not materials
• Could reset the password of a deactivated account
• Address was underlined in the customer module
• Removed an incorrect button from material screen setup
• Logging out of test mode brought you to live mode instead of test mode
• Could edit reference type and reference ID in the association tab manually
• Color and styling issues corrected in add item screen
• GL setup by attributes did not work for AP exchange and vendor invoice
• Could not enter a tax rate higher than 1
• Link button was being cut off in transactions
