When items are ready to be shipped, a common warehouse process involves picking and then packing them for transportation. This article will explain how to configure box [attributes](https://support.paragon-erp.com/what-are-attributes-and-attribute-values?hsLang=en) to be used through the [boxing](https://support.paragon-erp.com/using-the-boxing-function?hsLang=en) process. #### Access boxing setup From Paragon's home screen, click the **settings** button. ![](https://support.paragon-erp.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/edbsn313e450ca55a40f6d437b1c613588429315f0f58ef8d0b3dce9775364ab05e010786e85fda3a2bc2db1935a214975ffe-1-1-1-3-1.png) Under the system card, select **screen setup**. ![](https://support.paragon-erp.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/edbsn34109b34b22d7ae777c6e965f7f61cc991e239f10be1273e0c4b49bc712f2555345bd03a0c5f9be180f080ef152547c2-1-1-1-3-1.png) Once in [screen setup](https://support.paragon-erp.com/setting-up-transaction-screens?hsLang=en), you can enable boxing in the following modules: **invoice, order, pick, pack** and **shipment**.  To do that, go to the appropriate module, click on **edit** and click on the [**advanced settings**](https://support.paragon-erp.com/using-advanced-settings-in-transaction-screens?hsLang=en) button:   ![](https://support.paragon-erp.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/edbsnba263bc8184193d1f20f68d416f644409917f30042d559165dedfddd5432213250a8d9af78645e9bb20b5acce8e79537-1-1-1-3-1.png) A modal will be displayed. If you click into that field, a list of all available [attributes](https://support.paragon-erp.com/what-are-attributes-and-attribute-values?hsLang=en) you have set up will display in a list for you to choose from.   ![](https://support.paragon-erp.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/edbsn1a9eaf0eb5403928a0ca20b7b45987f7552f63b4c658ac707e13a7a08ae21d67c3c1e4fad9759c9eff67357ac9f1e706-1-1-1-3-1.png)   You can also apply a few conditions to the attributes you have set up in the boxing: 1. **Ordinal**: Sequences the list of attributes you add 2. **Mandatory**: You will not be able to save a box configuration without filling out this attribute 3. **Disallow multiple**: You cannot fill in the attribute more than once for the same box 4. **Always show**: Whenever you are creating a new box, this attribute will appear by default.
