Customizing grid views and columns
Learn how to customize Paragon grids by sorting, resizing, pinning, and selecting columns to create your perfect data view.
Paragon uses advanced grids that allow you to customize your view exactly how you like it. You can sort data, resize headers, and choose which attributes are visible to make your workflow as efficient as possible.
Sorting and resizing columns
-
Sorting: Click on any column header (e.g., description) to sort the data. An arrow (↑ or ↓) will appear next to the title to indicate whether the order is ascending or descending.
-
Manual resizing: Hover over the line between two column headers and drag it left or right to adjust the width.
-
Automatic resizing: Hover over a column title and click the menu icon (three horizontal lines) that appears. Select autosize this column to fit the content of the current column, or autosize all columns to adjust the entire grid at once.
Moving and pinning columns
-
Dragging: To change the order of your columns, click and hold a column title, then drag it to your preferred position.
-
Pinning: If you want a specific column to stay visible while you scroll horizontally, click the menu icon on the column header and select pin column. You can choose to pin left, pin right, or select no pin to release it.
Managing the column selector
You can decide exactly which fields are visible on your screen. While the first column (usually the ID) is often fixed, the rest can be toggled on or off.
-
Click the columns tab on the far right side of the grid to open the selection panel.
-
Search: Use the search bar at the top of the panel to quickly find specific attributes.
-
Toggle: Check or uncheck the boxes next to the field names to add or remove them from your view.
-
Group selection: Fields categorized under a group (like record information) can be toggled all at once by clicking the group checkbox.
-
Reorder: You can also drag fields directly within the column panel using the drag icon to set their sequence before closing the panel.
Click the columns tab again to close the panel and save your layout.
