[Import & Export](https://support.paragon-erp.com/configuring-paragon?hsLang=en#import-export) November 3, 2025 # Importing warehouse locations ### Introduction If you have multiple warehouse locations that you want to add to Paragon's warehouse setup, you can [import the information](https://support.paragon-erp.com/importing-exporting-or-transferring-my-data?hsLang=en) using the Universal Translator tool through the **location** module.   #### **Default columns** You can view the location column headings by accessing the **location **module from the **more** menu. ![](https://support.paragon-erp.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Location%20module-jpg-Nov-03-2025-02-35-53-3415-PM.jpeg?width=539&height=536&name=Location%20module-jpg-Nov-03-2025-02-35-53-3415-PM.jpeg) Listed below are the default column headings in the universal translator for locations that must match the column headings in your import file. - locationID - status - location type - warehouse address ![](https://support.paragon-erp.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/DocsDisplay-Feb-02-2024-09-07-37-8571-PM-1-1-3-1.png) The column headers above reflect the correspondingly named fields that you see in the **locations** screen.   The **locationID** represents the **location** field and **must be unique**. There can be no duplicates. #### **Custom attributes** The columns on your import file will also reflect the [custom attributes](https://support.paragon-erp.com/what-are-attributes-and-attribute-values?hsLang=en) that are in your **locations **module.   ![](https://support.paragon-erp.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/DocsDisplay-Feb-02-2024-09-07-39-5217-PM-1-1-3-1.png) Following the above example, the column headings will be: - aisle - rack - warehouseSection - warehouses The resulting structure of your import file will include all default fields and custom attributes.
