Creating a sales order

In ParagonERP, you can generate a sales order based on a quote, purchase order, or reservation. You can also create one manually. This guide explains the manual process
Creating a sales order record

Navigate to the order module in the right-hand menu.

Click the create button (+) in the top-left corner.

Select handmatig (Manual).
Selecting a customer
There are three ways to find a customer:

Customer number: Search directly by typing (part of) the ID.

Customer name: Search by typing (part of) the name. Paragon will find matches regardless of whether the name starts with the typed value.

All fields: Click the ellipsis (...) to search across all master card fields. You can use the columns tab to add specific search criteria.

New customer: If the customer doesn't exist yet, click create a new customer to add them immediately.
Updating the order header

Dates: Verify the transaction date (default is today). To add a specific ship date, click the more (Meer) tab.

Ship to address: Ensure the delivery address is correct. Click ship to (Zend aan) and use the blue triangle to select or add an address.

Reference: Enter your customer's reference number under uw referentie; this will be printed on the documents.
Selecting products

Click the blue plus icon (+) in the bottom-left corner.

Search for products by code or name. You can select multiple items at once.

Tip (Grouping): In the selection pop-up, you can group products by category (Artikelgroep) by clicking the hamburger menu next to the column header.

Click the checkmark to add the items to the order.
Adding quantities and product details

Quantities: Enter the required amounts for each line. Use the tab key to navigate quickly between fields.

Line details: Right-click a line to add specific notes, discounts, or a custom document description.

View stock: Use the columns tab on the right to add the stock (Voorraad) field to your view to see real-time availability.

Remove items: Right-click a line and select remove line (Regel verwijderen) if needed.
Finalizing the order

Discounts: Click the question mark next to order discount to apply a total invoice discount.

Notes: Add any general order notes at the bottom.

Save: Click the floppy disk icon in the bottom-right. Paragon will notify you if there is insufficient stock.

Issue/Confirm: Once saved, click the green action button (Orderbevestiging) to confirm the order. Depending on your settings, this will print or email the order confirmation.
