Release Notes - March 10, 2026

Improved grid filtering with "Contains" as default and new multi-currency support for journal entries in Paragon.

This release focuses on making your data easier to find and your financial records more detailed. We have updated how filters work across the system to save you time and enhanced our journal entries to support international transactions better.

  • Smarter grid filtering: Searching in columns is now more flexible, allowing you to find records using any part of a reference number or name.

  • Improved multi-currency tracking: Journal entries now store both the original transaction currency and your base currency for easier reconciliation.

New features

Multi-currency support in journal entries

To simplify your international accounting, Paragon now stores the original transaction currency alongside your base currency in the general ledger (GL). Previously, foreign transactions were only saved as converted base values, which could make reconciliation difficult. Now, journal entries for invoices and credit notes will include the original amount, the exchange rate, and the currency code used. This applies to new financial transactions; historical data and inventory transactions remain unchanged.

Improvements

Smarter column filtering

We have changed the default behavior of text filters in all grids from starts with to contains. This means you no longer need to know the exact beginning of an ID or name to find what you are looking for. You can now type any fragment—like the last few digits of an order number—into a column filter to see matching results. If you prefer the old way, you can still manually select starts with or other options from the drop-down arrow in the filter menu.
