Release Notes - October 9, 2025
Prevent over-crediting with new validation rules, share system-wide list layouts, and enjoy expanded PDF template options in Paragon.
This release introduces stronger financial controls and more flexibility in how you view and share data. We have implemented new safeguards for credit notes and expanded the customization options for both your list views and printed documents.
-
Credit note safeguards: You can no longer credit more than the original invoice total, preventing costly accounting errors.
-
System-wide list layouts: Admins can now create and share standardized list view layouts for all users across the organization.
New features
Credit note validation
To prevent over-crediting for returned goods or overpayments, Paragon now includes an automatic blocker. The system will issue a message and prevent the transaction if the credit note quantity or total value exceeds the amounts on the applied invoices.

System-wide list layouts
The list views in Paragon are powerful tools for searching and filtering data. You now have the ability to create general layouts that can be shared across your entire company. This ensures all users have access to the same standardized view of module data at any time.

Improvements
Expanded PDF template data
We have made it easier to customize your documents. You can now add the following data fields directly to your PDF (Portable Document Format) templates: unit price, line discount amounts, discount percentages, and tax amounts.

Quickbooks Online (QBO) connectivity
We have implemented several improvements to how customers are created in Quickbooks Online. Additionally, we updated the disconnection workflow to stay compliant with their latest requirements.
Bug fixes
-
RMA quantities: Fixed an issue where "left to credit" quantities were not updating correctly when creating a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from an invoice.
-
Data integrity: Corrected various background processes to ensure that crediting logic remains consistent across all transaction types.
