Move inventory with the Mobile application

Move inventory with the Mobile application

Introduction

When working in the warehouse, there are often times when goods need to be moved from one area or location to another. It is extremely convenient to be able to make these changes right from your mobile device rather than having to find a computer to log into.

This is possible with the move inventory option in your mobile application.

Once logged into the mobile application, you can use the back button to return to the main menu from the pick ticket screen.

Main menu:

Moving inventory

Select the move inventory option. You will be asked to scan an item.

Selecting a from location

Once an item is scanned, you will see a list of all the locations where the item is already stored.
You can either tap a listed location or scan one to select it.

Now that a from location has been selected, you will be prompted to confirm the number of units you would like to move from that location.

You can enter the number of units to be moved by either:
- Using the plus and minus buttons to increased or decrease the number of units or

- By entering the number of units manually by tapping the 0 on screen and hitting the checkmark when done

In both scenarios listed above, tap the arrow to confirm the number of units to move.

Select a to location

Now that you have determined the number of units to move and where to move them from, you will be asked to select where the units will be moved to.
You can do this the same way as before. Either tap a to location or scan one to select it.

Now you will be asked to select a reason code (this is optional) and confirm the movement you have requested.

Tap the confirm movement button to complete the movement.
You will be brought back to the move inventory screen - ready for your next stock movement.

You can also see that your inventory move was successful in the Paragon inventory history screen.
